This company has no faith in self-regulatory schemes run by FENSA or CERTASS. Under the FENSA or CERTASS schemes only 1 percent of installations are inspected.(1 in 100 jobs inspected). Also the inspection is notified to the window company in advance, giving the window company ample time to adjust what materials they install and how it is installed. The inspector only views the work after it has been completed making it impossible for a thorough examination as the performance of new windows and doors is dependent on how they are fitted which is not visible to an inspector. This is dangerous and has led to much abuse of these schemes allowing for poor installation. Bedford Windows will have every job inspected by your Local Authority Building Control, twice. Building Control will inspect during the installation and after the installation is finished. Only when the inspector is fully satisfied that your new window and door installation meets all Building Regulations, only then will they issues a Building Control Certificate (a legal requirement when replacing windows and doors). This is the only way to make sure the customer is receiving materials that are Fit For Purpose and the installation meets all current Building Regulations. Only after the Building Control Certificate is issued do you pay Bedford Windows Ltd.
You will find Bedford Windows a very different company. From the visit of our surveyor, who is there to discuss your requirements, present options for your selection and to measure for installation, through to the fitting teams who are directly employed professionals with considerate attitudes. You will find Bedford Windows a pleasant change from the fast-talking, high pressure salesperson and sloppy, careless fitting you may have experienced in the past.
Bedford Windows do not do business using pressure selling tactics and prides itself on being a fully sustainable business through recommendation. Our philosophy has always been that for every new customer won we will achieve a further two customers through recommendation. This is the philosophy that has built our company and we will not sacrifice it.
